The jacket is released in a limited edition and is inspired by the collaboration between 66°North and the National Olympic and Sports Association of Iceland in connection with the Winter Olympic Games, taking place in Italy in February.

Hornstrandir is a jacket without compromise. An athlete-informed hybrid construction built in PFAS free three-layer GORE-TEX® PRO® waterproof membrane textile faced with abrasion-resistant nylon. Reinforced at the shoulder and elbow, with four pockets with weather-resistant zips. Adjustment points on the hem, cuffs, and helmet-compatible hood allow for customized fit. 66°North is the official apparel partner of the National Olympic and Sports Association of Iceland for the Icelandic Olympic Team at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games. This is not the first collaboration between 66°North and the Olympic Association; 66°North was also a partner of the Icelandic team at the 1998 Winter Olympic Games in Nagano. This connection highlights the strong relationship and long-standing collaboration between the company and Icelandic elite athletes, as 66°North and the Icelandic Ski Association have worked together for many years.
