In wintertime in Iceland, the daylight is limited, making reflective clothing essential for safety. We wanted to take this capsule a step further and make every piece all-over reflective, ensuring maximum visibility in low-light conditions.  

In this edition, we took some of our favorite designs and deadstock material from our own factory in Latvia to create this highly functional yet fashionable special edition. 

These pants feature the design of our popular Snæfell shell pants, with a few alterations to the zippers and other details. Crafted from water-resistant and reflective material, these pants are ski boot compatible and have an articulated fit for maximum mobility, making them suitable for light to mid-range layering. The belt loop includes an elastic waistband integrated with a webbing belt, and there are two zipped pockets perfect for storing small belongings.

Charlie specializes in technical fabrics and dyeing processes, seamlessly combining functionality with fashion while fusing 66°North's 100-year old heritage with his distinctive techniques. With a strong emphasis on circularity in the design process, the collection utilizes deadstock fabric Charlie hand picked from 66°North’s factories.

Wide-leg, adjustable shell pants made from Polartec® Neoshell® fabric, featuring a total of 8 zippers and taped seams. The 10,000mm water resistance, combined with highly breathable and windproof qualities, offers both comfort and protection, while the fabric maintains a soft feel. Metal zippers with custom 66°North and CC two-way pullers adorn the curved pockets. All trimmings and stoppers are metal and specially sourced for this collection. 

The pants also feature rubber logos at the hem and a drawcord in the waistband for a secure fit.

Dyed zip-off Shell pants with taped seams made in 3-layer high quality pin-stripe reflective fabric from Italy. They feature a zip-off feature as shown on pictures which give the pants a non-season, all year around use. Metal zippers with custom made 66°north and CC two way pullers on front to give the pants a luxury feel. All trimmings, stoppers, snaps are metal and specially sourced for the collection. The pants feature CC’s signature 3-D pocket with both logos on. They have drawcord in both waistband and bottom hem. 
This unique style is special in a way when light is flashed on the fabric the lines get distorted. This is also a safety matter as the amount of daylight in Iceland in wintertime is very limited. 

Hand dyed by Charlie Constantinonu - the process takes 48 hours, no garment is the same.

The pants feature reflective stripes on the outside calf area for visibility.

Named after the nature reserve on Iceland's northernmost peninsula, the durable and high-performance Hornstrandir bib is the choice of outdoor professionals and serious enthusiasts across Iceland, whether hiking, mountaineering, climbing, or touring.

Crafted from extremely breathable, very rugged, and durably waterproof up to 28,000 mm GORE-TEX® PRO® fabric, these bibs are designed to keep you dry and comfortable in the toughest conditions. The bibs are windproof, ensuring protection against harsh winds. Featuring a relaxed cut with adjustable suspenders, these bibs offer both comfort and durability, with reinforcements on the backside, knees, and outside of the legs. The two zipped front pockets, along with the fully seam-sealed design and YKK Aquaguard zippers, provide added convenience and waterproofing.

The two-way zipper at the front opening and the two-way full-length zippers at the sides allow for easy transitioning. The leg-gaiter system at the hem, equipped with an elastic cord and hook, ensures a good seal from snow and soil. To secure a tight seal, wrap the elastic cord under your feet and hook it onto the metal pieces over the dorsum (top of the foot).
