From her early winters in Reykjavík to stages across the globe, Laufey has grown up in 66°North. We’ve been there through the seasons - keeping her warm since 1999. Today, we are proud to launch a capsule collection that celebrates this shared history.
Rooted in shared Icelandic heritage the collection blends Laufey’s signature aesthetic with 66°North’s legacy of outerwear design.
The collection will be available early at our London and Copenhagen stores to celebrate Laufey's "A matter of time" tour and will launch globally online and in our stores in Iceland from March 10.
For Grammy award-winning Icelandic-Chinese artist, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Laufey, the collaboration is deeply personal. Growing up in Iceland’s unpredictable weather, she wore 66°North from childhood, learning firsthand the value of protective clothing. This lifelong connection laid the foundation for the design collaboration.
“When I think back on my time growing up in Iceland, I think of walking to school or music lessons in the crazy weather. 66°North was always my companion. To now be recognized by one of the most prominent and innovative companies in Iceland with my own capsule collection is such a privilege,” said Laufey.
Laufey developed the collaboration together with her twin sister and creative director Junia. The five-piece capsule reimagines everyday wear with Laufey’s signature feminine and playful aesthetic, offering a fresh take on the 66°North core collection.
