Inspired by our workwear heritage

The Grandi collection is inspired by our workwear heritage and features a range of versatile pieces.

The capsule consists of overall, pants, short-sleeved shirt, vest and workwear robe that has been transformed into a wrap-around dress that can be worn in various ways for everyday wear. The collection is made from a blend of 90_ Polyester and 10_ Spandex, which makes the clothing both strong and flexible.

Same shipyard, 60 years apart

The name and inspiration comes from Grandi harbour, which is a former fishing-district in Reykjavik´s city centre. Grandi means ‘narrow strip of land connecting two larger bodies of land’. The area - now a buzzing part of ‘downtown’ - was previously a shipyard filled with workers and fish processing plants, all historically reliant on the sea for a living.
