Nearly 100 years of craftsmanship and braving the elements in Iceland meets London’s next-gen of design.

Announcing our collaboration with London-based designer, Charlie Constantinou. Together, we've created a capsule collection that combines Constantinou‘s proficiency in technical fabrics and dyeing processes with our shared values of practicality and function, to create a collection of functional outerwear, infused with a vivid sense of imagination

Primarily made using deadstock material from 66°North‘s own factories, the capsule collection embraces a circular approach and dials into the shared values of both 66°North and Constantinou.

Hailing from London, Constantinou graduated from Central Saint Martin’s College MA fashion design course specializing in technical fabrics and dying processes and has since been awarded finalist for the world-renowned LVMH prize

The collection is currently exclusively available at our flagship store on Regent Street in London as well as at SSENSE.com

Made from deadstock materials

The capsule is primarily made using deadstock material from 66°North‘s own factories and embraces a circular approach.

Inspired by 66°North's archives

The collection is inspired by 66°North archive that dates back to the 1950s and the surrounding Icelandic landscapes.

Unique technical fabrics

The collection features unique fabrics that act as a safety feature in Iceland's minimal daylight winters and include muted earth tones, purples, and reds.

For me the basis of this collaboration was formed on the values that me and 66°North share, the need for function and practicality. The focus of my work is centred around functional wear with a greater sense of imagination and being able to break out of the proportions 66°North usually work with played an important role in the collaboration.” - Charlie Constantinou.

Working closely with the 66°North design team, the collection incorporated multiple visits to Iceland to understand the origins of the garment technology that was born out of necessity. Drawing inspiration from the 66°North archive that dates back to the 1950s and the surrounding Icelandic landscapes, the collection consists of technical knitwear alongside signature endurance outerwear staples.

The knit styles are produced to the highest quality in Italy and feature a pleated merino blend yarn with a 3-D effect when stretched.
