This year 66°North marks 100 years alongside the Icelandic nation. To celebrate, we have created a capsule collection celebrating 10 styles – 10 decades. Each style represents an iconic product introduced in that decade. Whether that’s the classic fisherman’s anorak from 1926 or our most versatile shell jacket from 2011 - Snæfell.

2016-2026

The standard of modern fabric innovation. Representing the most recent decade, the Snæfell captures the evolution of 66°North’s technical outerwear in a versatile everyday shell. Crafted from Polartec® Power Shield Pro®, it provides 20,000mm waterproof protection with exceptional breathability. Its distinctive orange colourway pays homage to the original 66°North fisherman’s coat.

Snæfell has a backpack-compatible articulated fit for maximum mobility and is well-suited for light to midrange layering. The shell hood is fully adjustable with a built-in visor and hidden cord lock system.

The 100-Year Capsule brings the 66°North archive into the present; the collection reflects the changing needs, technologies and styles that have shaped 66°North. The design team worked closely with the company’s extensive archive, selecting pieces that capture significant moments in the brand’s history and creating modern updates. Many of these products are still part of the brands collection today, now reimagined with new tweaks and updates.

Each capsule piece also features a specially developed woven label containing information about the style and the decade it represents.

The jacket has a regular fit. Those between sizes should size down.
