Hornstrandir
Hornstrandir is a jacket without compromise. An athlete-informed hybrid construction combines GORE-TEX® PRO® 3L with stretch panels to create a sturdy, armor-like waterproof that moves as gracefully as it’s asked. For commuters, Hornstrandir represents the peak of shell technology today. For skiers, climbers, and mountaineers, it’s the best Iceland has to offer.
Powering Hornstrandir is a three-layer GORE-TEX® PRO® waterproof membrane textile faced with abrasion-resistant nylon. This burly outer is strategically reinforced at the shoulder and elbow, with four oversized pockets protect belongings with weather-resistant zips. Adjustment points on the hem, cuffs, and helmet-compatible hood allow for customized fit.
Hornstrandir fits true-to-size, but is specially cut to accommodate the needs of mountain athletes and explorers. The back of the torso is extended, the hood is sized to fit a helmet, and the hem of the cuffs is longer than typical. Please size accordingly.
