Drangajökull is a minimalist technical parka designed for the city. A DWR-coated matte nylon hides GORE’s iconic waterproof membrane. Premium white goose down ensures warmth in all weather. Taped seams, low-profile pockets, and a removable dyed blue fox fur ruff add further utility. Given its advanced materials, it shouldn’t surprise you that Drangajökull can handle the Arctic Circle’s worst. Given its looks, it still might.

The body of Drangajökull is cut from two-layer GORE-TEX faced with a burly, abrasion-resistant nylon. Articulations throughout make the parka refreshingly agile. Plentiful pockets provide room to spare. Behind it all, 800-fill white goose down provides exceptional warmth for weight.

All animal products used in 66ºNorth products are ethically-sourced from audited suppliers. Our down comes from a long-time German supplier, who has been certified in accordance with the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) Downpass, and the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. The parka features a detachable fur trim. The fur trims are supplied and specially selected by Feldur Verkstæði, a company with extensive experience in producing leather goods and fur products, ensuring both quality and a responsible sourcing process for the Icelandic market. The skins themselves are produced by Saga Furs.
