Inspired by an early 2000s piece from the 66°North archive, the Dyngja shell jacket carries a distinctive vintage character. This reference to heritage both honors the brand’s history and imbues the jacket with a timeless appeal.

Adjustable drawcords at the back of the hood, as well as at the front and bottom hem, add versatility. They allow for a customized fit, letting you control how closely the jacket sits around your head and waist. The printed version takes inspiration from our very first garment, created in 1926 - The fisherman coat. Nearly a century later, the fisherman coat remains a staple in the Icelandic fishing industry, with countless fishermen still relying on 66°North gear at sea.
