Designed to withstand extreme cold and rugged conditions, the Jökla Parka combines advanced functionality with durable craftsmanship.
Updated in AW25 with enhanced features and PFAS-free fabric.
Insulated with RDS-certified high-quality 800 fill-power white goose down with a 90/10 down-to-feather ratio, it ensures exceptional warmth even in the harshest environments. The tough Cordura® fabric shell, made of 71% nylon and 29% polyurethane, provides superior durability with an added water-protective film. Virtually windproof at 1 CFM, it is engineered for temperatures below –30°C and remains lightweight at 920 g.
Featuring a storm-welt covered front zipper, adjustable tabs with Velcro, and ribbed cuffs at the sleeves. Adjustable straps and an elastic cord for wind protection and visibility adjustment. Drawstrings at the waist and hem allow for a personalized fit and optimal thermal retention. In addition, Jökla features an extra-strong external hang loop, D-rings for clip-on accessories on the exterior and interior, and ISO-standard reflective detailing on the sleeves and center back.
The Jökla Parka includes 15 functional pockets for optimal storage. On the exterior, there are 10 front pockets: two cargo pockets with increased volume, two zipped hip pockets, and two zipped hand pockets at the chest, all of which are fleece-lined and feature storm welts. In addition, there are two pockets with waterproof zippers at the chest (lined with warm fleece), a zipped card pocket at the sleeve, and a small snapped pocket at the shoulder. All outer zippers are durable YKK® zippers with easy-grab pullers. The interior features four pockets, including one zipped pocket, one secured with Velcro, and two large dump pockets for gloves or hats.
All animal products used in 66ºNorth products are ethically-sourced from audited suppliers. Our down comes from a long-time German supplier, who has been certified in accordance with the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) Downpass, and the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. The parka features a detachable fur trim. The fur trims are supplied and specially selected by Feldur Verkstæði, a company with extensive experience in producing leather goods and fur products, ensuring both quality and a responsible sourcing process for the Icelandic market. The skins themselves are produced by Saga Furs.
The unisex sizing with a regular fit is designed for layering with base and mid-layers. Longer than a standard parka, the Jökla excels in outdoor adventures and demanding work environments, offering unmatched performance and reliability in the most extreme climates.
