The Tindur short down jacket is a shorter, more versatile take on the original Tindur jacket, combining protection for extreme conditions with effortless everyday wear. Originally designed for the first Icelander to summit Mount Everest, the Tindur brings expedition-level warmth and protection to a versatile silhouette suited to skiing, hiking, and everyday life. Large flap chest pockets reference the expedition overalls that inspired the original design, while archive-inspired patches revive some of 66°North’s most iconic heritage logos.

The Tindur offers a considered balance of windproof protection and breathability, thanks to its WINDSTOPPER® Products by GORE-TEX LABS® fabric. 800-fill-power down insulation and baffle-box construction provide exceptional warmth without compromising freedom of movement. Interior chambers with vertical walls help prevent the down from shifting, while stitching that does not penetrate the outer fabric helps minimize heat loss and further enhances warmth.

Its slightly oversized fit allows room for layering while maintaining ease of movement. In colder conditions, pair it with our base and mid-layers for additional warmth and protection.
