LAYERS OF EVERYDAY LIFE
Continuing the brand’s centennial story, the collection reflects more than a century of craftsmanship rooted in protective clothing, while introducing new interpretations of core silhouettes through a modern lens.
For 100 years, 66°North has evolved alongside Iceland itself - from creating essential outerwear for fishermen facing the harsh North Atlantic climate to becoming part of everyday Icelandic life and culture. The AW26 collection celebrates this ongoing journey, honouring the functionality and durability that have defined both the brand through generations.
AW26 Heroes
The hero styles for the AW26 season include the brand’s Dyngja Down Story, which is based on a bestselling early-2000s down coat and has been reimagined for everyday wear using recycled insulation. It is available in a bomber, coat, and jacket.
The Tindur Down jacket, designed for extreme-cold performance and originally created for the first Icelander to climb the north side of Everest, is also featured. The coat is now available in a new cropped silhouette inspired by the brand’s recent collaboration with District Vision. The Tindur Shearling is also included—a Polartec technical mid-layer that blends warmth with mobility for cold-weather performance.
For wind and rain protection, the new collection features the Dyngja Shell, an archive-referenced jacket introduced in AW25 that quickly became a favourite for its timeless design and everyday usability. Also included are the Hornstrandir GORE-TEX Pro, the brand’s most technical hard shell engineered for demanding conditions, and the Snæfell, a bestselling, breathable, soft, waterproof jacket made with a Polartec plant-based membrane for everyday protection. Heritage archival-print T-shirts—adorned with fishing boats, Icelandic landscapes, and classic workwear—round out the collection.
New product introductions include the Kaldi, a new outerwear style available as an oversized bomber jacket and a bomber–parka hybrid. The collection also introduces the Kaldi Half-Zip, a relaxed reinterpretation of the brand’s classic Icelandic wool sweater. Completing the lineup is the Hofsjökull Coat, an updated version of the brand’s signature Hofsjökull Parka, now constructed with GORE-TEX Windstopper for enhanced weather protection and performance.
