66°North Archive - Made for life

Archive store in Copenhagen, first outside of Iceland

We have brought our Archive concept to Copenhagen with the opening of 66°North Archive. With this dedicated space, we have introduced a format previously only available in Iceland to the Danish capital, offering a rare glimpse into nearly a century of heritage, craftsmanship, and circular design. With existing store locations at Sværtegade and Copenhagen Airport, the Archive store is now the city’s third 66°North retail space.

The store features a curated selection of archive pieces at great prices, with new drops added monthly, giving Copenhagen shoppers access to sought-after styles from past collections alongside rare vintage items sourced from Iceland.

Location: Gammel Kongevej 85 | Google maps

Opening Hours:
10:00 - 18:00 Monday – Saturday
11:00 - 16:00 Sunday

The Archive Store showcases past-season collections, rare archive pieces and garments from the brand’s extensive historical archive. Offering customers the chance to access long lasting, responsibly made outerwear, the new retail concept reinforces our long-standing, holistic approach to circularity, extending the life of its products. Since 1926, circularity has been central to 66°North. The brand has long repurposed leftover materials and offered a repair service from its earliest days, and the launch of the 66°North Archive further strengthens this commitment by giving new life to existing products and reducing waste.

“Since our founding in Iceland in 1926, 66°North has been committed to extending the lifespan of our products,” notes Helgi Óskarsson, CEO of 66°North.

“Our archive stores only further that by giving our past-season outerwear the chance to find a forever home. After over 10-years since opening our first store in Copenhagen, and the celebration of our 100-year anniversary in 2026, it felt like an opportune time to bring this concept to the city”.

Through the years, we have collaborated with the Icelandic Red Cross on a circular journey.

For this project, the pre-owned 66°North garments received by the Red Cross were prepared for resale: all were cleaned and refreshed, while some were professionally repaired at our in-house repair service. The finished collection will be sold exclusively at our Archive store in a limited edition - perfect for anyone who values quality, circularity, and unique pieces. Arrive opening weekend to secure your pick

Please note: the pieces are pre-owned and restored for wear. While they are repaired and wearable, some items may not retain all original technical properties.
